Hi guys! I was in Singapore to catch Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams tour but of course I shopped for makeup as well. Shopping for makeup, or anything for that matter, in Singapore is quite expensive and not very enticing as compared to shopping in Korea or USA because they are just expensive!
However both Catrice and Essence are cheap and available in Singapore with prices ranging from as low as 3SGD up to 15SGD max. We don’t get Essence in PH, so I hoarded what I could.
Common drugstore brands here in the Philippines like Maybelline, L’oreal, and Revlon are all much more expensive in SG so skip that. They do have Bourjois and Physician’s Formula though, but again, expensive at around 30SGD above. Palladio is cheap in SG at 10-30SGD max.
KBeauty brands are also abundantly available but I didn’t hoard that except for 3CE (3 Concept Eyes). I found a store called Infini in Kallang Wave Mall that was having a clearance sale because they were closing down so almost everything was for 5SGD! Its prices in Sephora ranged from 20-35SGD. 3CE is mid-end in Korea, like Banila co., whereas Etude House, Innisfree, Skinfood are more low-end, so I was so happy to stumble upon that. I bought a ton of stuff from them and also got lots of freebies.
Bugis Junction had the most wide selection of makeup stores in my opinion with both low-end and high-end stores. I didn’t go to Orchard anymore because I felt that I already had my fill from Bugis. They have Bourjois in the BHG there along with so many Asian brands that were both popular and relatively unknown, which is exciting, but I still have a ton of Korean products left from our trip to Korea 2 YEARS AGO!, and they weren’t as cheap as they were in Korea so I skipped that. But you might want to check that out.
They also have Rimmel in the Watsons in front of Sasa in Bugis, which we dont get here in Ph, but I didn’t need anything from that brand so I didn’t buy anything from them as well.
Sephora is much more expensive in-store in SG than online by 10-50% depending on the brand but they have Sephora-exclusive sizes like minis below 20SGD for high end brands. But if you’re looking for high end makeup, it’s best to shop at Changi Airport because of their travel exclusive sets and because it’s tax-free there while in SG malls, it’s not that common!
Good stores for makeup in Singapore are:
Then standalone stores like Urban Decay, NYX, Etude House, Innisfree, Chanel, MAC, etc were also available.
I’m so sorry about my voice in this video and if I seemed tired in it. It’s because I was exhausted when I filmed this from the concert the previous day and from walking around all day that day! This was already around midnight and on that day we went to Bugis, Vivo City, and Chinatown. I will upload a travel vlog next so stay tuned for that! Don’t forget to like and subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already.
