It’s been ages since I posted a makeup inspo here! So here is one I did today. I was going for a festive pinky purpley look and came up with this:
The look is quite easy to do as long as you have navy blue & berry shadows, a pink glittery or metallic shadow/pigment, and a deep berry or plum blush & lip to pair.
Because the look is glittery, I started off with the eyes. I used a flesh-toned NYX eyeshadow base all over the lid and browbone to cancel out any discoloration. I also smoothed on the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in Asphalt on the center of the lid as a base for the halo spotlight shade. From the Zoeva Matte Spectrum palette, I used a berry shade as a transition and wrapped it around the lid up to the browbone. Then I went in with the navy blue shade on the inner & outer corners keeping the center bare. Then I popped on the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Party of Five on the center of the lid and blended the edges. Then I buffed everything with a clean blending brush.
I did my base next, moisturizing thoroughly at first then applying a thin layer of the Catrice Prime & Fine Beautifying Primer all over.
Next I mixed the same primer with the Fenty Beauty Pro Filtr Foundation in 180 and applied with a beautyblender. I concealed my undereyes with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard and afterwards applied the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal on the tops of my cheekbones as a liquid highlight. I set my undereyes and T-zone with the W7 Sheer Loose Powder in Honey.
I finished off the eyes by applying the navy blue shade on the inner & outer corners of the lower lashline and the pink glitter shadow on the center as I did on the upper lid. Then I wrapped the lower lashline with the berry transition shade, making sure the upper & lower lids were connected. For mascara I just used the Essence Lash Princess as a volumizing base then layered the Happy Skin At Long Lash mascara on the tips to lengthen.
To complete the skin, I used the W7 Bronze & Glow as bronzer & highlight then dusted a satin pink blush.
For the lips I used Essence Longlasting Lipliners in A Girl’s Dream first all over then topped with Plum Cake.
Alternatively, you can also pop on the Colourpop Party of Five Super Shock Shadow on the center of the lips to add a glittery dimension to the lip as well.
